Youssef Ahmed, the legendary Qatari footballer, has spent over three decades in the game. Born in 1977, he started his professional career with Al Sadd SC and went on to represent several clubs throughout Qatar, including Al Sadd, Al Rayyan, and Al Ittihad.

Ahmed's journey began at Al Sadd SC, where he made his debut in 1996. He quickly established himself as one of the club's most important players and was instrumental in their success during the 2000s. In 2005, he joined Al Rayyan, where he played for two seasons before moving to Al Ittihad in 2007.

During his time at Al Ittihad, Ahmed won numerous accolades, including the Qatar Cup title in 2011 and the AFC Champions League in 2013. He also represented Qatar at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010, where they lost to Spain in the quarterfinals.

Despite retiring from playing in 2014, Ahmed continued to have an impact on the sport through coaching. He served as the head coach of Al Sadd SC from 2018 to 2019 and then moved to Al Rayyan, where he is currently the head coach.

Throughout his career, Ahmed has demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and dedication to the sport. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest Qatari footballers of all time.
