Breaking News: Hassan Al-Haydos at Al Sadd
Al Sadd Football Club announced the signing of former Moroccan international striker Hassan Al-Haydos on Friday.
The 28-year-old striker joins the club from French side Montpellier after spending two seasons with the Ligue 1 outfit in 2021-22 and 2022-23. He has represented Morocco at the national level, scoring 6 goals in 45 appearances for his country.
Al-Haydos' move to Al Sadd follows a successful stint at Montpellier, where he scored 19 goals in 37 appearances over two seasons. The club is looking forward to adding another attacking option to their squad under new coach Nabil Gazi.
Al-Haydos will wear the number 11 jersey for Al Sadd, which was previously worn by former star player Ahmed Zedan. His arrival adds depth to the club's attack and could provide a boost to their chances of winning the upcoming Egyptian Premier League title.
Hassan Al-Haydos' transfer fee has not been disclosed, but it is expected to be in the region of €1 million or more. The club hopes that his experience and skills will help them compete with some of the top teams in the league.
Al Sadd fans are excited about the prospect of having a strong attacking presence at their stadium, and they hope that Hassan Al-Haydos will bring his skills and passion to the team. With the club currently in the middle of a challenging season, any addition to the squad is welcome news.
